This video was created as part of the Nagari Film Grant by The Charles Correa Foundation that was awarded to me in 2020. The film is surrounding the situation of pavement dwellers living in the Parry's Corner of Chennai. Under several rehabilitation conditions, they have been forced to move away from these locations, far away across the city, to areas that do not help with facilitating their livelihoods. Life of Anjalay is the story of many. They are neglected and unheard constantly. We tried to understand what home means to them and why.
